"I just want to say how much we all enjoyed ourselves yesterday. It's the first time I've completely switched off for many years, the only thing I thought about for two hours was painting and I loved it! I'll be in touch soon, I have several friends who are very interested to have a go, and now I know exactly what to give those people who are always hard to buy presents for.

"Thanks for everything! The painting is now on my wall, competing with a poster of Kandinsky's 'Yellow-Red-Blue'.

During the week I'm racking my brains concentrating on words and numbers, but when I come to the studio I'm concentrating on colors, shapes, tone, texture - using a completely different part of my brain. By doing so, the part that's been active all week and exhausted is able to switch off and relax completely. Staying at home, listening to music or just lying around can't achieve that sort of complete relaxation. It's almost therapeutic. I'd call it stretching exercise for the brain. "

The team really enjoyed the opportunity to take a break from their regular duties and spend time getting to know each other on a more personal level and uncover some hidden talent! "We truly enjoyed our painting session - I can't believe how focused we became on the paintings that we were doing. Anyway, both of our paintings have been hung on the walls in our new offices. Mine in reception on a straw tone wall - which looks fantastic there, and Tims on a mustard yellow wall which alsolooks fantastic as it looks like it is the beach around the sea and it also really picks up the yellows that he used in the painting. "
